Robert Mugabe Applies for Axis of Evil Membership
Thursday, January 9, 2003 - Baghdad
Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein played host to another villainous fellow this week in Baghdad, according to sources within the city.
A statement released by Zimbabwe officials confirmed suspicion that the visit was to officially join the Axis of Evil.
"Mr. Mugabe was quite upset with the U.S. President when he learned that he was not included in the axis of evil," a source told BCB News, "I mean just how evil does one have to be to be recognized in this group?"
Mugabe is expected to argue to Saddam that he has been just as ruthless, if not more so.
The points he hopes to emphasize at the meeting include the continuing successful disruption of food aid, higher numbers in the murdering of political opponents, tremendous enhancements to his "Starve Your Fellow Countrymen" campaign, and a top-notch rating for smugness and self-satisfaction.
"Is this a race thing?" Mugabe reportedly asked an official with the United Nations. "Does USA think that I am somehow less ruthless because I am an African man? Bloody racists!"
